If you've spent any time in the club on a Friday evening, it's hard to miss the big table by the windows occupied by our always-smiling, Pinot Noir–drinking regular, Larry Bares!
While many know Larry as a familiar Friday face, his roots in the Elks run deep. His dedication to Dickinson Lodge #1137 and the Elks organization spans nearly seven decades:
• Dickinson Lodge #1137 Member — 69 Years
• Past Exalted Ruler — 1987-1988
• Past District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler (West) — 2004-2006
• Past North Dakota State Elks Association President — 2010-2011
• North Dakota State Elk of the Year — 2015

On Friday, June 26th, Larry will be celebrating an incredible milestone—his 90th birthday! 🥳🎂
An open house will be held at the Lodge beginning at 4:00 PM. We invite all members, friends, and guests to stop by, say hello, share a story, and help us wish Larry a very happy 90th birthday.
Congratulations, Larry, and thank you for your years of dedication, leadership, friendship, and service. Here's to 90 years young!

We’re proud to share that Elks Lodge #1137 recently made several generous donations to local organizations:
• $5,000 to Muddy 4 A Cause
• $2,221 to Dickinson Diamonds Softball
• $1,000 to Dickinson Mustang Baseball
• $500 to The Beginning Project
These contributions help support youth sports, local causes, and important local community programs.

We've had Bartenders cooking, Hostesses and our families washing dishes, Board Members Grilling and Our Entire team and past team members SHOW UP and show out these last 2 weeks. Rallying together sometimes at 8 am and others at 11 pm to make sure our homemade sauces are done or that were clean and stocked for the next day, staff came to work instead of their days off and worked overtime in positions they have never been trained in with smiles on their faces, not because they were asked to but because in their heart they wanted to- to make sure we kept these doors open for our members and guests as much as possible and we couldn't be more grateful for the community and regulars that have rallied behind us every limited menu, gaming room closing early, longer ticket times or wondering why your usual pasta looked a bit different - thats because they are used to making martinis and not scampi🙈🤣 . But we persevered, hired some AMAZING talented people and cant wait to roll out our new menu. ➡️Teamwork makes the Dream Work and around here we are a WHOLE TEAM🔥🫶
