Our new barista keeps sleeping on the job and drinks up all the milk inventory🥛

Luckily for her, she’s suuuuper cute and can get away with anything! Luckily for us, we have plenty of coffee for those sleepless nights/days.

We are ecstatic to welcome Miss Laila Green to the family!

Our hearts (& hands) are totally full right now, so no coffee pop-ups planned on the horizon…but fortunately, there is no shortage of amazing coffee experiences here in Ann Arbor/Ypsi & beyond!

Hey everybody!

We’re still here, I promise. We haven’t had a pop-up in a while, and that’s ok! Other things have been taking priority recently... Work, leisure, picking apples & making cider, long walks with Ella, Michigan football, misc. adventures, tacos, basically life in general…

Pop-up coming soon…maybe…maybe not so soon….but when that time comes again, we’ll be ready with a big ol’ smile to welcome you and prepare you whatever your heart desires 💚☕️

In the meantime…we’re still open to event inquires.

Excited to be back in Dexter this Saturday!

aaaand we’re extra excited because will be hanging out too! I’m already eyeing the sweet corn x cherry tarts and peaches n cream puffs! Who doesn’t love a puff?! So I suggest you get there early before I eat them all.

As always, Carosello has you covered with all your fresh pasta and grocery needs…and on top of all that, an incredible selection of farm veggies grown with love from

This weekend we have the perfect escape or side quest away from all of the busyness that is the Ann Arbor Art Fair.

We’re exited to be setting up for their annual Make-A-Tile & More event. We’ll be slingin’ coffee from 10-1pm and Motawi Tileworks will be hosting awesome activities until 3pm. No registration required!

The event includes outdoor tile-making and raku tile-firing workshops and an indoor staff art sale.

You can carve your very own Turquoise-glazed tile with help from the Motawi experts. Check out the staff art sale that will feature locally made ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, mixed-media works, and so much more…and not to mention you can also shop the Motawi gallery and boneyard.

Interactive & creative fun for the whole family!! (Plus, you won’t almost lose your mind trying to find a place to park downtown)

So whether you’re avoiding the Ann Arbor Art Fair all-together or just looking for something fun to do in addition to the fair, we hope you’ll consider coming out to to hang with us for for a little bit!

Meet the team!

In case we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting you in person at one of the pop-ups yet, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves, the crew behind Ella…

First up, is me, Jeff (blue beanie).
Born & raised in Ann Arbor…spent a few years down in south Florida then headed west to Los Angeles for the next 13 years working in just about every industry there is.

Next up, the brains of the operation, Megan (beautiful smile). Born & raised in Fort Washington, Maryland (PG County!). Graduated from the other U of M (Maryland - Go Terps) then headed out west to Southern California for the next 13 years excelling as a creative designer & marketer manager…you probably have bought or seen products that she designed the packaging for.

We met, fell in love, and then shortly after hit the wall with living in expensive Los Angeles and decided to move to Michigan so we both could be closer to family and hopefully get ourselves a house to call home. Well, we got the house…and then we got a dog to go along with it.

Ella - half basset hound, half mystery, 100% sweet girl. Always down for an adventure, a nap, or a belly scratch. She allows us to use her name for the business in exchange for grilled salmon and chicken dinners.

The rain and gloom today is only setting us up for a sunny beautiful Saturday full of bike rides, farmers markets, fresh pasta, kayak runs, cold brew coffees, back yard grilling, and smiles all around.
