‼️a little life update from me (Amélie)!!!! *drumrollllll*
this saturday, 6/20, i’ll officially be AT OUR CAFE, WASHED UP COFFEE, FULL TIME 🎉
before anything else, we need to talk about Emily. for the past year+, she’s carried every piece of this business on her shoulders & built Washed Up Coffee into what it is today. i know y’all already know this… but she’s the best 😭 when you see her next, please give her the biggest round of applause imaginable & embarrass her w/ the most compliments you can gather.
a little peek into our nights & weekends together (while i’ve worked a 40-50 hour per week job): talking about Washed Up, planning for Washed Up, celebrating Washed Up, stressing about Washed Up, dreaming about Washed Up, and everything Washed Up in between. 😂
when DOCR moved me to Michigan in 2023 to launch & grow their wholesale sales program, i had no idea how much this season & move would change my life. DOCR, love you forever!
last summer, Emily & i launched Washed Up Coffee. we knew it would be special, we knew what we were capable of, but certainly did not expect for it to take off as much as it has - so fast! from the start we had lines down the sidewalk for our pop ups on a piece of wood & two saw horses. now we have lines out the door in a brick & mortar. why? we offer genuine kindness & quality coffee, some would say even more than that hehe 💙❤️💛 our customers have been incredible in return, THANK YOU for the love & for celebrating so much w/ us.
i am so excited to be able to focus on coffee sourcing, training & education, a lot of behind-the-scenes projects, & continuing to grow in the part of coffee I care about most: helping people find space, comfort, and belonging in this industry.
