Four years ago, we opened Rosa with a simple belief: community belongs at the center.

As we celebrate our fourth anniversary, I’m excited to share the next chapter of the Rosa story.

Beginning June 29, Rosa is heading down the street to Miss Eva’s in Rosedale Park. This collaboration brings together two businesses inspired by family legacy and rooted in hospitality, connection, and community.

We’re also strengthening Rosa for the future by bringing experienced food and beverage operators into the business, allowing us to build on what we’ve created while continuing to raise the bar.

As part of this pivot, June 19 will be the final day of café operations at Grandma’s House and Watersquare. Rosa Campus Café at Wayne State University remains an important part of our future, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.

Thank you for growing with us over the last four years. We look forward to continuing to serve you at Rosa Campus Café, and beginning June 29, at Rosa at Miss Eva’s.

Cause Mama gotta have a life too.

We're hosting a Mama's Day Party at Grandma's House on Saturday, May 9 from 3-9pm, and we want you there.

This is a FUNraiser to support Rosa—because keeping this space alive takes a village, and y'all are our village. Tickets are $10, but you can contribute more to support the cause. Every dollar goes directly to supporting Rosa.

Come celebrate the mamas, the mother figures, the ones who mother everyone around them. They deserve to kick back, have a drink, and enjoy good company.
