Never Easy BBQ

We're off running in in La Belle, MO for the Show Me BBQ Showdown. Big thanks to Smokin Brothers, Inc. Gateway Drum Smokers and 1 Bite Stand for bringing drums for me to borrow so I didn't have to bring mine over from the Royal. Hopefully Brad left a little magic in his drum after his monster GC last week. Good luck to everyone cooking here in La Belle and today's Invitational and sides contests at the Royal. We'll be back in just enough time to help celebrate the winner tonight.
Were loaded up with the best products this weekend, thank you to our sponsors and friends for all of the support.

Last post on this I promise...

KCBS members have you placed your vote in the current board of directors election? Votes must be in by Monday night. If you haven't voted yet, please go out and do it now. It will take 30 seconds or less and will have a big impact on KCBS moving forward. There are 3 great candidates running for the position, even if your vote isn't for me, it is very important to me to see as many members vote as possible.

We had a great time in Excelsior Springs this weekend for BBQ & Fly In on the River. I thought we had a pretty solid cook but it doesn't always pan out that way. A 10th place Compart Family Farms rib powered the way to a 33rd place finish out of 83 great teams. Big congrats to Triple H BBQ for GC and BBQ Maestros for RGC and punching their tickets to Vegas.
For us we now take a few weeks off before heading to one of my favorites in Brandon, SD for the SD BBQ Shootout at Huset's Speedway.
