We just returned from a long trip, and it was a very important one for us personally.

It was a trip that reminded us how important family truly is. It gave us moments and memories that we may never have the chance to experience again in this lifetime, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.

First, we want to say a very special thank you to everyone who helped keep Zenko going while we were away.

To our current team members, our partners, and even former employees who no longer work with us but still came back to help when we needed it most, thank you. Some of you adjusted your schedules, took on extra responsibilities, and stepped in wherever help was needed so that we could have the time for this trip.

That means more to us than we can properly put into words. We truly appreciate every one of you, and we will always remember the support you gave us.

We also want to thank all of our customers for your patience and understanding.

We know the past week was not always convenient. Some of our store hours had to change unexpectedly, and we understand that this may have caused frustration or inconvenience for many of you. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and your patience with us.

Now that we are back, we hope to get everything running smoothly again and continue making things better every day.

Thank you so much for your support.

Thank you for understanding us.

And most importantly, thank you for staying with us. ❤️

Late night post!!!

Due to a family emergency, our Waukee and Ankeny stores will be temporarily closed as scheduled below.

We truly appreciate everyone who stopped by Waukee and Ankeny during this busy weekend—we felt your immense love and support. A special thank you to our dedicated team members and the Ingersoll team for stepping up to cover extra shifts and oversee our stores while Chau and I are away. Please stop by, show them some love, and say hi!

We apologize for any inconvenience these temporary closures may cause. In the meantime, please visit our Douglas Ave, West Des Moines, and Ingersoll locations for your boba fix, as they remain open for regular hours.

We will be back soon with our new Fall specials. Thank you again for your patience and support!

Dear Zenko Tea fans,

Our little kitty turns one year older today! To celebrate her birthday, Zenko Tea - Waukee will be closing a little early today at 5:30PM so Chau and I can celebrate with her.

For those who always look forward to seeing her at our shop, we have a quick update. She will be starting preschool with her older brother tomorrow, which means I will no longer be bringing her to the store with me.

Thank you so much for hanging out and making friends with her over the last 16 months. We truly appreciate your support.
