A lot has happened in the month since we started our GFM campaign. Here is a quick update:

It’s working! YOUR DONATIONS HAVE KEPT US IN OPERATION. We were able to make our December rent payment thanks to your support and are currently working with our landlord to establish a feasible payment plan that will allow us to continue to operate for years to come. We have yet to sign the agreement, but we adjusted our fundraising goal accordingly. So, thank you all and fingers crossed!!

When we launched our GFM campaign over a month ago, we had no idea what to expect for November sales, and we did much better than expected! Our customers are loyal, and our business-model was already mostly take-out, so we have not been affected by the new restrictions as much as many other restaurants have. For this, we are also very grateful.

The fight is not over, but by February we will be in our busy season and, if we can just make a few rent payments between now and then, we should have no financial difficulties in 2021. Even just sharing the link for this campaign can make a major difference: https://bit.ly/3liMc2e
