Tonight! Cooper Braun returns to the Carw Gwyn stage with another evening of live traditional storytelling in his “Old Stores for a New Millennium” series – where classic tales find their voice in the modern age – on Wednesday, June 17th from 7:00-9:00pm!

Cooper is an award-winning teller who performs locally and nationally, and is committed to bringing live traditional storytelling into the new millennium. With his project, Stories with Spirit, he has frequently performed in-person, produced over 60 virtual story events, and performs with nationally respected tellers in many more.

Carw Gwyn is thrilled to be the home of Stories with Spirit, and hope that you will join us at 1509 N. Marion St. Denver, CO 80218, on June 17th. Please note – these stories are intended for mature audiences. While younger audience members are welcome, be advised these stories may contain adult themes.

The Dark Ages return tonight at Carw Gwyn as we present a flash Goth Night on Sunday, June 14th! The music will take a deeper turn with the sudden arrival of a dark DJ aus der Schweiz, giving us the unexpected chance to host this special one-time event!

Whether you’re a modern-day vampire or plan to sack Rome, join us in your high or historical fashion as we fill the hall with Goth, Industrial and Darkwave music. Savor craft meads, specialty cocktails, beers, ciders, whiskies, and wine from Dragon Meadery!

Carw Gwyn is pleased to announce the arrival of a new mead from Dragon Meadery – Dry Raspberry Melomel, bringing its dry, brambly fruit flavor to our menu!

We are offering this new addition by the glass and in a special mead flight with two more raspberry meads – Ragnarbaer from Meadkrieger Meadery, with its light, slightly sweet flavor; and Freya’s Tears from Drekar Meadery, with its rich flavor and natural haziness. All three are delicious, but very distinctive!

Come taste how three local meaderies bring raspberry to your palate, and to our hall. Start with a flight and stay for more!

Carw Gwyn is a mead hall for the ages – where you can select from a range of craft meads on tap, by the glass and in flights, or sample specialty cocktails, beers, ciders and curated whiskies. Join us tonight, June 11th, at Carw Gwyn for our regular Thursday traditional Irish session from 7:00-9:00pm, led by John Wilson and Megan Buettgenbach! They will be joined by some of Colorado’s best traditional Celtic musicians, so if you’ve been meaning to join in the music or just join in the fun, tonight is your chance!

Come early to order a drink – perhaps our new raspberry melomel mead from Dragon Meadery – and a meal. We look forward to seeing you tonight!

Back just in time for Pride Month, Carw Gwyn is pleased to announce the return of Drekar Meadery’s Lofn’s Gift lemon-lavender mead! Drekar remind us that “Lofn is the goddess of forbidden love, known for embracing relationships of all varieties and accepting all who seek her blessing… empowered… to arrange unions others would deny.” Lofn’s Gift is available by the glass or in our metheglin flight, accompanied by Meadkrieger’s Odrerir spiced mead and Redstone’s Juniper Berry.

Carw Gwyn is a staunch ally organization and safe space for our LGBTQ friends and family, and we welcome people of all gender identities and consensual relationships.
