Carw Gwyn is proud to feature a wide range of craft meads from some of Colorado’s best mead makers. From traditional meads rich in honey flavor, to fruited and spiced meads for a variety of tastes, we’re happy to carry so many styles to share with you.

Whether you’re new to mead or an experienced taster, our sample flights are an excellent way to try and compare a number of flavors. Once you’ve selected your favorites, full pours by the glass will help you settle in to savor them more fully. Pair your mead with our menu offerings to round out your evening, and join us on selected nights for a range of live and interactive entertainment. Follow this page for future announcements!

Carw Gwyn is a mead hall for the ages – where you can select from a range of craft meads on tap, by the glass and in flights, or sample specialty cocktails, beers, ciders and curated whiskies. Savor old-world fare including stews, sausage, and charcuterie, all while surrounded by the glow of a fantasy medieval drinking hall!

Just minutes east up Colfax Avenue from the Denver Convention Center, Carw Gwyn is located at 1509 N. Marion St., Denver CO 80218, at the corner of Colfax and Marion. Join us and fellow fans throughout the weekend. We are open 4:00pm-midnight Fri., 3:00pm-midnight Sat., and 3:00-10:00pm Sun. This offer is available from May 28th to May 31st, 2026.

The Dark Ages return tonight at Carw Gwyn as we celebrate World Goth Day - Friday, May 22nd! Whether you’re a modern-day vampire or plan to sack Rome, we welcome the darker side of Denver!

Join us in your high or historical fashion as we fill the hall with Goth, Industrial and Darkwave music, and fill your cups with wine – appearing on our menu for the first time! Selections from Dragon Meadery will include a Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Sauvignon Blanc. If the spirits approve, wine will become a regular offering alongside craft meads, specialty cocktails, beers, ciders and whiskies – even as Goth night becomes a regular event at Carw Gwyn!

Sending heartfelt thanks to all who attended last night’s Fantasy Costume Night at Carw Gwyn! It was an amazing evening of revelry!

Today! Carw Gwyn’s first official Fantasy Costume Night - Sunday, May 17th!

Whether you’re a long-time costumer, live-action role-player, historical reenactor, original character creator, or preparing for your first renaissance faire, find friends, exchange ideas, and bring your fantasy character to life in Denver’s most evocative setting!

Join us from 4:00-6:00pm for a live hurdy gurdy session on the Carw Gwyn stage while enjoying a wide selection of craft meads, specialty cocktails, beers, whiskies and old-world meals!

No registration or reservations are required, but please note that seating will be first-come, first-served and tables will be communal. We look forward to seeing you all this weekend!
