Three desserts. Zero regrets. Il dolce far niente 🍫🍋🍮

Our dessert menu at Lo Stella is doing something special, and we need to talk about it.

First up - the chocolate cake 🍫 Mirror glaze so perfect it should be illegal. Chocolatey layers finished with gold leaf because Chef Trevor doesn’t do anything halfway.

Then the cheesecake 🍋 That glossy top, the delicate citrus curls, the honey-olive oil pool underneath… Italian elegance on a plate.

And finally the Semifreddo 🍮 Silky, caramel-drenched, topped with candied pistachios and a dusting of powdered sugar. It arrives looking like a dream and disappears in about 30 seconds.

Which one are you ordering first?

You’ll throw your head back for this one. Veal at Lo Stella 🤌🏼

Tender veal finished with melted cheese. Simple, classic, the kind of dish that reminds you why Italian food doesn’t need to be complicated to be excellent!

Right here in Denver’s Golden Triangle.

Vongole al Vino Bianco at Lo Stella 🐚✨

Fresh clams sautéed in a white wine butter sauce, finished with herbs and lemon - and that fresh-baked focaccia on the side is not optional. You need it to soak up every single drop of that buttery broth from the bowl. Honestly our bread situation alone is worth coming in for! 🍋

This is the kind of dish Alessandro’s family has been serving on the Ligurian coast since 1850 - simple, coastal, perfect. Now right here in Denver’s Golden Triangle.

Clams + fresh focaccia or clams over pasta - how are you taking them? 👇

Our patio is OPEN and the Aperol Spritzes are already pouring 🍊✨

Denver, this is your sign to get outside. Golden Triangle’s favorite Italian spot just unlocked the best seat in the neighborhood.

Summer in Denver starts like this. 🌞

Six ingredients. That’s what REAL Italian pesto is. 🌿

This is our Trofie al Pesto Genovese. Basil, pine nuts, Parmigiano, EVOO, garlic, salt. No cream, no shortcuts, no “pesto-style” anything.

Pesto was born in Genova, on the Ligurian coast. Alessandro grew up twenty minutes away in Portofino, watching it made the same way for generations. That’s the recipe that just landed on our spring menu, tossed with hand-rolled trofie, the pasta Liguria invented to catch every drop.

Come taste the difference six ingredients can make. 🇮🇹

What is everyone looking at? 🧀🍝

That’s our Tagliatelle al Ragù d’Agnello getting tossed inside a full parmesan wheel, and yeah, the whole family stops to watch every single time.

Slow-braised lamb ragù, fresh tagliatelle, finished in the wheel so every strand picks up that nutty, salty pull of aged parm.

Alessandro’s family has been doing this since the 1850s in Portofino. 8 generations of muscle memory in one toss.

Italian pork ribeye. 🔪

1.6 lbs from Parma, sliced and fanned over arugula, cherry tomatoes, shaved Parmigiano, and finished with our house balsamic-honey reduction.

Built to share. (You won’t want to.)

When the pasta hits like that. 🤌🏼

Ziti alla Genovese: imported ziti with slow-braised beef and caramelized onion ragù. Hours in the pot, finished with fresh parm at your table.

Meet Luca, our Grappa King 🍇🤴🏻

When he reaches for the Capovilla, you know it’s about to get serious. This one’s a cigar-infused grappa, a Grappa Amarone Riserva “da Sigaro,” small-batch and distilled in Rosà, sealed with wax. Smoky, slow-sipping, completely unexpected. The real deal.

Most people have never tasted grappa like this. Luca’s here to fix that.

Come let him walk you through the cart. He’s got opinions, and he’s usually right.

This just landed at your table. 🌊

Fregola allo Scoglio: Sardinian toasted pasta with calamari, shrimp, clams, mussels, asparagus. White wine, garlic, EVOO.

Spring + sea on one plate.
