Brewed with huge amounts of Mosaic, Amarillo, and Simcoe and rolling in at 7.3% ABV.

Long story but pretty cool.

I was scrolling Instagram recently and saw Alva Beer Co. in Alva Oklahoma had a guy call Michael Hosty play a show there.

I grew up in Oklahoma and went to Oklahoma State University. We used to see Hosty Duo play at Mike’s College Bar all the time like 20+ years ago.

I commented on their post and next thing I know they sent me a Kazoo from Hosty, then a couple days later Hosty sent me a shirt (it’s a new version of my favorite shirt).

Long story short… Oklahomies are the best and the beer community is just such a special place. Huge thanks to Alva Beer Company and Mike Hosty for being so dang cool!

We’ve got some super fun events for your eating, drinking, and listening pleasure this weekend.

Friday 6/19: Summer Solstice Patio Party
Rugby Scott Ranch Provisions | Premium Meats + Provisions is grilling up burgers and cheesesteaks. Trevor Jones Band is cooking up those tasty licks at 6pm. Cold beers and even colder hard seltzer slushies.

Sunday 6/21: Cambodian Street Cook-out with Horse & Tiger and CamB.B.Q. Foods Catering We’ll have a single sixtel of Cambodge Wit, Mango Sticky Rice Adult Slushie, and Live Music. 2pm - 6pm. It’s the perfect Father’s Day outing.

Somebody just shared it’s National Hug Your Cat Day. (Thanks a lot, Darren)

In lieu of hugs, we’re gonna give the best little gentleman one more montage to say goodbye.

Also want to say I so greatly appreciate the outpouring of love and shared pictures. It’s just a great reminder of how awesome of a life Aramis had and how he connected with so many people.

I’ve been crying a lot around the brewery and probably will continue to do so, his impact was so huge around here but there’s no shame in loving big and showing it.
