“SIX YEARS OF WAGON! ☕️🖤

From our first tiny 8oz roaster vented out to our backyard to our commercial roaster today… WOW. What a ride.

Even after 25 years in coffee, this industry keeps teaching me something new.

One thing I’ve learned? You have to be willing to pivot, recalibrate, adjust, and sometimes completely rethink how you do things.

You can buy coffee anywhere. But reliability and relationships? That’s what keeps people coming back.

Great coffee matters. But so does showing up, building trust, and doing what you say you’re going to do.

Six years of learning, growing, taking risks, and believing that coffee can be a vehicle for something bigger.

Grateful for every person who’s been part of this ride.

THE BEST PART OF WAGON ISN'T IN THE BAG

“I had a conversation with Amber this week that I haven’t stopped thinking about. She was wondering if she’d really made a difference for Wagon Coffee this year. And then she answered her own question. Since January, she’s shown up 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠. She’s been consistent. And she realized she was proud of that.

𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩: 𝙔𝙀𝙎. 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙏.
Sometimes the “little things” are the “big things”.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙪𝙨: 𝙗𝙚 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙘𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙. Be true to who you are. Do what you say you’re going to do. Show up.

She’s consistent. She’s dependable. I don’t wonder whether she’s going to show up or whether something is going to get done.

Wagon has grown this year, and Amber has played a huge role in that.

Because showing up builds trust. It builds confidence. And somewhere along the way, you realize...

I’ve spent 25 years in coffee. I love the craft, the connection, all of it.

But coffee is the catalyst. Recovery is the why.

Ryan’s recovery lit a fire in me for this work—but recovery was never just his story. It became ours. I had my own healing, my own patterns to recognize, my own work to do.

We’ve had front-row seats to incredible transformation—and also the devastation of this disease. Once you’ve witnessed both, it’s hard not to care deeply.

Wagon may be built around coffee, but what we’re really building is a ripple.
