Hi Everybody,
David, Bruce and I went to our former chef- Celestino’s new restaurant and it is great. If you’re missing Racines, this restaurant is for you. Some of our most excellent cooks are there and the food is on point.

An American Restaurant, where you can enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Not to forget our full bar and we hand squeeze our juices daily.

Thanks to Denver City Council and Councilman Paul Kashmann for the proclamation honoring Lee Goodfriend and David Racine for feeding Denver for 40 years. We're so proud of our founders!

Sam Brennan created a poster for Racines when he had a wonderful show here a few years ago. We liked it so much that we used it for our menus. now you can own one and have a nice poster of our place to remember us by. We are sad to leave but we must for our health and age.

Racines cleaned our our freezer and donated some of it to Same Cafe. They feed those in need. What a beautiful plate they made out of our mahi-mahi. Perfect. Thank you SAME Cafe Denver!

It is with profound sadness that David and I have decided not to reopen Racines. there is just too much working against us. We hope that our beloved guests continue to support independent restaurants. they truly need our help to survive. Thank you for the support over the last 40 years. its been so much fun. the hard work was worth it and its time to retire and enjoy the slower paced life. we will miss our treasured guests. we are trying to help place our fantastic staff. love to all of you and many thanks.

Hi Friends,
Racines is not opening for a while. even though David and I feel forever young, we are of the age where we need to be extra careful about the virus. so we are watching and waiting. We hope to see you soon.

Yes, it's true. Racines will close permanently on January 15, 2021. Come celebrate with us after we're all safe and get to reopen. Can't wait to see all of you for a long goodbye.

Owners Lee Goodfriend and David Racine are retiring.

Racines has decided to not do delivery at this time.
We thought long and hard about it.
But we decided that it’s better to keep our staff safe and keep the huge machine that is Racines closed down. If this changes, we will let You know. 
We do sell gift cards online but it sure doesn’t help our staff.

We already miss our guests and staff so
Much. 😘

to our wonderful guests and staff. we will close today at 12:30pm and reopen when the government allows us. please keep our staff and all in your thoughts. so many people out of work now.
