You are cordially invited to a night of revelry, refreshments and displays of supernatural skill at Audacious Immersiveā€™s Beasts and Wonders Gala Ball.

Speaking of revelry, preparations are well underway and we want to give you all a sneak peak of what, and who, to expect! šŸ‘€

Get to know mythological creatures such as Peraephrona Ophionis, the legendary Gorgon of Greek mythology who is ready to introduce her pet snakes to our gala guests, as long as they keep their hands to themselves (and avert their gaze). šŸšŸ‘€

Or the Selkie of Scottish folklore, Vanora Mirren who is a little too keen to share her seal skin with anyone who gives her a passing glance despite her sister being the Selkie of the infamous ā€œSelkie Wifeā€ tale. Some kids just gotta make their own mistakes. šŸ¦šŸ’Œ

These are just some of the creatures available to meet at the Beasts and Wonders Gala Ball. And donā€™t worry, most of them donā€™t bite. āœØ

šŸø Van Helsing Society Signature Drinks šŸ¹

The Founderā€™s Measure

A rich wh***ey cocktail with thyme, cherry, and aromatic spice, finished with expressed orange. A measured pour from the Societyā€™s oldest traditions.

This is just one of the fabulous signature cocktails that will be available at the Beasts and Wonders Gala Ball. And donā€™t worry, our mocktails are just as magical āœØ

We are partnering with Aerial Cirque Over Denver and their amazing artists to show off their aerial circus skills. Be dazzled as they gracefully weave through the air and effortlessly entertain with enchanting performances throughout the evening.

This is just one of the amazing acts that will enchant you at the Beasts and Wonders Gala Ball. āœØ

Al has infiltrated every corner of our virtual lives. Want to get away from it? Get back into Real Life!

Real Life offers entertainment Al just canā€™t replicate. Like literal humans making art right in front of you! Sometimes they even talk to you directly! Music! Stories! All 100% made in reality.

*Disclaimer: No part of this video was made with Al. Except I donā€™t actually know if thatā€™s true because the concept is so broad and has so thoroughly permeated everything digital, itā€™s really hard to say.

Additional Disclaimer: This is a joke. But also, you should go see a live show.

Easily one of the most fun parts of making immersive experiences is the worldbuilding/set building/crafting part. Just yesterday we started crafting two stumps, a ā€œfairytaleā€ style bucket, and giving this lovely formally blacklight mushroom, (generously loaned to us by Katya Nunez ) a more fantasy vibe.

Weā€™ll be using these pieces at our Beasts and Wonders Gala Ball on Oct 10th, and the Mythological Petting Zoo event THIS Saturday in Denver.

The Van Helsing Society has become simply overrun with all manner of mythological creatures! šŸ‰šŸ™šŸ§œšŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¦§

These creatures have come from all over the globe to meet young adventurers who are keen to learn all about them šŸ”Ž, build fairy houses šŸ§š , and fill out their own Creature Passport šŸ“– !

Stop by The Audacious Space this Saturday the 12th anytime between 11:00am and 2:00pm to see what creatures you can cozy up to!

And donā€™t blame Trygve the troll for saying the times wrong, numbers arenā€™t his strong suit. šŸ˜…šŸ§Œ

The mystical creatures of Audacious Immersive are busy getting ready to meet you all in ONE WEEK!

The Van Helsing Society is welcoming supernatural conservationists of all ages to get up close and personal with these fantastical creatures. Throughout this three-hour open-house-style event, guests can come and go at their own pace as they meet a collection of fantastical creatures and the knowledgeable handlers responsible for their care. Get an up-close look at a (not too scary!) serpent dragon, a troll, a baby kraken and more! Hear the stories and legends surrounding them, and learn a little about what it takes to safely interact with these magical inhabitants of our world.
ā€‹
Young adventurers can make even more of their visit with optional activities available throughout the event, including filling in their own Creature Passport, building a fairy house, and storytelling performances!

Be sure to grab your tickets for the event before the troll does!

The PĆ¹ca is a shapshifting creature that is found primarily in Ireland. It can be a tricky sort of creature who can change into many forms, often playing jokes or taking wandering travelers on wild rides.

Our creature handler is Saga, one of the HuldufĆ³lk ā€” the hidden fae-like creatures of Iceland (sometimes called elves) They live in an alternate dimension within the rocks and boulders of Iceland. They are typically quite shy, although have been known to cause mischief to humans that disturb their homes. But they are just as likely to be kind of humans, healing them or causing dreams that warn of danger.

Both of these typically elusive creatures will be at our Mythological Petting Zoo on Sept 12 at the Audacious Space in Denver!
