Do you Remember the Hayman Fire?!
June 8 - July 18 2002
The blaze started 17 years ago and burned for six weeks, consuming 137,760 acres, almost twice the size the of the second-largest blaze in Colorado's recorded history, the Missionary Ridge fire , which started the day after Hayman and burned 70,662 acres in LaPlata County.
The brave surrounding community civilians of Douglas, Jefferson, Park, and Teller counties Rallied together to feed the firefighters that would fight upto 12-16 hour at a time..

DaChef's Simple, Smoky, & Spicy Green Chili Recipe, Now Happily Named "The Green Monster"! (Thanks Dad!! Love it!!)
7 Fresh Roasted Chilis 🌶️(Hatch from New Mexico, Aniheim, Poblano, jalapeno, Serrano, Green & Red bell, and a few Habeneros), Beer,🍺 Bacon,🐖 Pork Tenderloin, and Tequila.. This chili was so good people were coming back 3 and 4 times..it was one of the first to sell out!! I just didn't make enough!

Only the 3rd time i made a Vegetarian Red Chilli.. (Vital Veggie)🌽🥕🍅🍄
-11 different Veggies carefully seasoned and cooked individually (ie;Tons of Portabellas marinated in Merlot Wine & Worcestershire overnight, Corn grilled with olive oil, salt, pepper, & lime, Carrots glazed with a touch of Agave nectar and Chipotles... Etc). Pinto Beans being the only bean, and a light amount at that.

No Thickeners! They both were completely free of the most common allergies!
