It is with heavy hearts that we make this announcement... After nearly five years, Wendell's will be closing our doors for the last time on Sunday, September 21st. We've had a good run, but unfortunately, rising costs, competition, and the overall climate for small restaurants in Denver have taken their toll, and it's time for us to fold our cards.

We've truly loved the home we found on Tennyson, and the community we've been privileged to be a part of. While we can put a price on pancakes, the relationships we've had the opportunity to build with our beloved regulars, and the incredible staff we've had through the years, well, that's priceless.

We hope you'll join us for breakfast one last time in our remaining few days. It's been an honor, Berkeley. We love you guys.

And if you do that, ask yourself, does your local mom and pop get a lease with them? Or do they move in, buy the property, and push everyone else out? Purely rhetorical, obviously... After two and a half years with us, this amazing woman is moving on to pursue her dream career as an aesthetician! She has grown our regulars board with her charming personality and infectious laughter. She stood by us through our grimmest moment.
