That's right! Berni's Italian Deli is doing a Pop-Up at our Gift Shop Open House this Friday from 11am-1pm.

Featuring Berni's favorites like Joe Burgers and soups! Soups include Stuffed Pepper, Zuppa, Wedding, Cream Cheese Potato, and Broccoli Cheese! It's first come first serve, so make sure to come early!

Who doesn’t miss Berni’s Deli? So many great memories! Well, you can relive those great days by joining us at the Depot for our next pop-up on November 15 when April Berni will be back and serving her famous Joe Burgers! They will definitely sell out so come early!! 11-1pm

We have sold our building that has been in the Berni family for 80 years to a wonderful new caretaker in The Asetta Bread Company. We are selling some restaurant equipment and contents. Call or text me if you’re interested in the equipment at 740-229-1689. We will be at the deli Friday December 11 1:00-4:00 and Saturday 10-2. Stop by and say hello and perhaps purchase a bit of history from this iconic building.

We are so grateful and humbled by the outpouring of support and love last week. Thank you for the kind words, flowers,and gifts. Thank you Mayor Tim Still and Teri Edwards for the beautiful proclamation. A big thank you to our family, my girls who are like family, and all of our friends who have supported us through these years. Words can not express what’s in our hearts. We will miss all of you! BERNI’S has been open on the corner of Logan and Third St since 1940, 80 years! We decided last year that 2020 would be a good year to retire. So on the day the present day BERNI’S are beginning our 14th year, we are announcing our retirement and closing as of May 29. We will still be open and serving your favorites (carry out only) Wed,Thurs,and Fri until then. It is bittersweet, we are happy to be able to enjoy all the blessings God has given us but will miss all of you. Thank you so much for all of your support and love. You all are like family to us.
