They say all good things must come to an end… two years ago we walked through these doors completely unsure of what our future would hold. We worked diligently alongside our friends and family to open Asian Shui. The first few months were complete bliss. We were busy, our team was hustling, and we were quite pleased. Then came March, just a few months after opening… Covid… We were faced with more challenges than you could ever imagine. Tears were shed, employees were temporarily furloughed, and David and I worked 80 hours a week making food for the firefighters, EMS, police department , and families to try and keep our new business afloat. Ultimately, we beat the challenge and kept moving along. Throughout the time since, recovery has been a challenge, food cost have skyrocketed, and my husband and I have sold our home and changed jobs. That is where the hard decision had to be made to say goodbye to our home away from home, Asian Shui. This is not a decision we took lightly, but prayed about and understood that the time had come. We want to thank the amazing Denison community for all of the support over the last couple of years. We want to thank Josh for giving us this opportunity. We want to thank our precious girls for being understanding the many times we had to be away to commit to our restaurant. Most importantly, we want to thank our staff for helping carry us through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Next Saturday, the 18th, we will close our doors for good. However, know that we do have another neat thing in the works that we will share when the time is right. In the meantime, please continue to support local because whether you realize it or not, they need your support more than ever. Thank you all for the love during this difficult transition for Asian Shui.
