Nothing better than a slice of pizza and a light salad on this beautiful Thursday. The Moose is open from 11-2 for lunch and then we will reopen at 4:30 this evening.

SALAD BAR and PIZZA sounds pretty good! Pizza by the slice is available for lunch. Don’t forget dessert. We have soft serve, hand dipped, and rolled ice cream. We also know have homemade cheesecake cups which are delicious.

Update: From Rori-Hudson’s Mom

Today we had an interesting visit with our oncologist. First and foremost I want to say that we are extremely grateful for having the freedom to choose what’s best for Hudson due to his now stable condition. Hudson’s pathology has confirmed that he has a choroid plexus carcinoma. When they did the testing there were 10 focal points of more aggressive activity. When there are two histologies involved (one high grade and one low grade), common practice is to treat the higher histology. Hudson’s tumor is also complex. His tumor doesn’t have the TP53 mutation which is unlike a carcinoma. Methylation, which is a newer type of testing, shows that the tumor will have a more benign course. So there’s a gray area. This isn’t black and white. We can treat with chemo 3-5 days a month for the next 6 months, or we can wait and watch. His oncologist said that he feels confident either way. He recommends chemo because it is cancer, but he wants us to weigh all the risks and decide what’s best for Hudson. We are already ahead of the game, the tumor is gone and his CSF shows no abnormal cells. During this time we just ask that everyone prays for guidance as Caden and I make our decision. We will make our final decision July 9th when we meet with his oncologist again. Thank you for all of the prayers 💙
