The Duck Inn, a historic Supper Club, is located on the corner of County A and Hwy 89 in the township of Richmond, city of Delavan, WI. The name, The Duck Inn, originated first during the prohibition era when the Duck Inn was a speak easy. Therefore, patrons were to secretly “duck in” for a drink where the bartender would tell a patron to be quiet and “speak easy”. After prohibition ended, Wiscons

in Liquor licenses were issued mostly outside the city limits, with the contingency that the establishment must serve food. To make use of the liquor license, establishments started to specialize in dinners, thus “supper clubs” were born. In 1994, The Duck Inn was purchased by Jeff Karbash with the goal to restore The Duck Inn to a traditional supper club. The Karbash Family created an inviting atmosphere with casual fine dining in an elegant country setting. This is done with a historical duck theme, festive holiday decorations, friendly accommodating staff, and fine food & cocktails.

The Duck Inn has 6 ducklings graduating from high school and moving onto their next chapter, some of them will be staying on at The Duck Inn for their next chapter, and some are moving on to new things! Help us congratulate these high school graduates!

First we have Michael. He was been working at The Duck for 4 years as a busser and is graduating from Elkhorn Area High School. He is planning to attend Midland University to study Business Intelligence and Technology and is continuing to swim.

Next is Delaney, she has also been with us for 4 years as a busser and host. She is graduating from Whitewater High School and is going to attend UW-Whitewater to major in psychology.

Then we have Kennedy, and she has worked at The Duck for 3 years as a busser and host. Kennedy is graduating from Craig High School, and will be attending UW-Green Bay for Human Biology with an emphasis of health science in hopes to go into the medical field.

Josiah has worked at The Duck for 1 1/2 years as a busser, and is graduating from Academy of Excellence Online, and will be attending Maranatha Baptist University for Pastoral Ministry.

Mackenzie has been a dishwasher for 1 year, and is graduating from Delavan-Darien High School. She will be attending Carroll University to study psychology and animal behavior, while continuing to swim.

Lastly, we have Sydney, who has been with us for 2 months as a host. She is graduating from Elkhorn Area High School, and will be attending UW-Platteville in the fall.
