💛🍋 Yesterday reminded us why we do this.

If we’re being honest… yesterday didn’t exactly start the way we hoped. There were some unexpected challenges, some unnecessary tension, and more than a few things that decided to go sideways all at once. 😂

But then something happened.

Our people showed up.

Not just for a lemonade—but for each other.

We watched families cheer each other on, riders give everything they had, trainers, volunteers, producers, and parents keep pushing forward, and people step in wherever they were needed.

And we felt something that meant more to us than we can put into words:

Loyalty. Respect. Community.

There are some details from yesterday that don’t really need to be explained publicly. 😉 Those who were there know it got a little interesting.

But we sure did love hearing:

“We protect our own.”

…and our personal favorite:

“They ain’t getting no money from me!” 😂

As we’re getting closer to a full year with NBHA TX 15 & EBR Barrel Productions, we can’t help but think about how far this crazy little lemonade dream has taken us.

We started this scared, stressed, and honestly unsure of what we were doing.

Now we’re standing in the middle of a community that has welcomed us, supported us, challenged us, and allowed us to grow.

And Susan—we want to give you and your family a HUGE thank you. ❤️

From Mike working the tractor and dragging the grounds, to the volunteers setting barrels, to you somehow continuing to communicate, organize, and make sure people have a chance to participate through everything life has thrown at you…

We see you.

And to the families, trainers, riders, volunteers, spectators, and even the horses 🐎 —thank you.

It takes a village, and we’re damn proud to be part of this one.

Yesterday could have ended as a really frustrating day.

Instead, we drove away feeling more grateful than ever.

Because this isn’t just about lemonade anymore.

It’s about people.

Thank you for choosing us, supporting our crazy little dream, and showing us exactly what community looks like. 🥹🍋💛

We don’t take any of it for granted.

Last month I commented to Larry that we were on track, and what a blessing it would be to have 365 followers for our first year in business! One for every day of the year! I checked yesterday… 366!! I guess that’s one to grow on. 😂

Thank you all so sooo much for believing in our dream as much as we do! Let’s make this next year an even better one.

Happy Birthday to my wife, my best friend, and the woman behind so much of what we’re building with Hydration Station! ❤️

Today is Rikki’s birthday, and I just want to take a minute to brag on her a little bit.

She works her butt off, she loves our customers like family, and she has a bigger heart than she’ll probably ever admit. A lot of what you see when you come up to our trailer started as an idea in her head, and I’m pretty damn proud to stand beside her and help make those ideas happen.

We’ve met so many good people through this little adventure of ours, and seeing Rikki light up when we’re out there serving everybody is one of my favorite things.

So if you see her today, make sure you wish my girl a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🎂❤️

Happy Birthday, Rikki. I love you more than you know, and I’m proud of you every single day.
