Tomorrow is the day.
And honestly… I don’t really know what to say.
Am I emotional? Yes.
Am I excited? Also yes.
I’m a little bit of everything.
Letting go of something I wanted for so long …something that was successful in Decatur… it is humbling and heartbreaking. And anyone who knows me knows I hate admitting defeat. But this isn’t that.
I’m incredibly proud of what we built over the last eight years.
Proud of my staff.
Proud of this community.
Proud of the blood, sweat, and love that went into these walls.
I’ll be honest…moving into this larger location, believing I could handle it all, was a lesson I didn’t see coming. After more than 30 years in this industry, I truly thought I’d learned them all. Turns out, life had one more humbling reminder for me.
I pray for my employees.
I pray for my customers.
And I pray for myself as I close this chapter, step away from this location, and pivot forward.
This is not the end of my story.
This is not defeat.
And I promise you one thing this will not be the last time you see me build something.
The best is still yet to come. 🤍
