Join us for an unforgettable experience! We’re excited to host our first Live Tuna Cutting Event on Wednesday, March 18th at 6:30 PM.

Watch our head sushi chef expertly carve a pristine whole tuna and taste ultra-fresh cuts moments after slicing. Seats are limited and reservations with a deposit are required. Call (404) 855-5488 to reserve your spot.

As the evening begins, a master sushi chef presents a glistening whole tuna and walks guests through the anatomy of the fish — from deep red akami to the coveted, marbled otoro. With long, precise strokes of a razor-sharp maguro-bōchō knife, the chef breaks down the tuna before your eyes, explaining each cut, its texture, and ideal preparation.

But this isn’t just a demonstration, it’s interactive.

After the carving, guests step into the role of sushi artisan. Individual stations are set with seasoned sushi rice, crisp nori, fresh wasabi, house-made ponzu, pickled ginger, scallions, sesame seeds, tobiko, and specialty sauces.

With guidance from the chef, you’ll learn how to:

• Shape delicate nigiri topped with akami, chutoro, or otoro

• Roll hand rolls (temaki) with your favorite tuna cuts

• Assemble sashimi plates with daikon, shiso, citrus zest, and finishing salts

• Experiment with flavor pairings and sauces

Taste each cut on its own and discover how fat content, texture, and temperature influence flavor. The chef will move through the room offering tips on rice pressure, slicing technique, and presentation.

It’s lively, communal, and hands on, not just dinner, but participation in a centuries old craft.

By the end of the evening, you’ll leave satisfied, inspired, and confident crafting your own nigiri, hand rolls, and sashimi.
