Happy New Year to Everyone and a wishing you a Healthy, Safe & Fantastic 2022!!! Many of you have reached out concerning the future of Debo’s. As you are all aware, we have been fighting a battle with the GDOT (GA Dept. of Transportation). GDOT has issued an Eminent Domain order upon the property and they have removed our signage and fence. We lost our last appeal against the GDOT and they have approved an express ramp off the exit. This lane will go through our property and will cause us to lose valuable parking spaces, as well as the play area for our kids. GDOT will not put in place any safety barriers to protect our customers or vendors. Debo can not open our location in good Conscience knowing that our community will not be safe with fast traffic flowing freely off the express ramp. Will be looking for a new location within or surrounding community. Please feel free to DM me with a list of locations. I am truly sorry about the turn of events, but you all know that you can’t win vs the government and eminent domain. We appreciate the support from each and everyone of you!! Thanks again to you all and we will see you soon!!!
