Halal beef bacon jam . Great on burgers and on our brisket Sandwich. 2 lbs beef bacon , 2 white onions ,2 oz apple cider , 2 oz water , 1 cup brown sugar ,3 tablespoons mikes hot honey , cook off the water till it gets a little thicker and bam!!

Had someone yesterday to question about the price of Brisket and Beef Ribs in the Restaurnant, so here you go.

Ever wonder why brisket costs what it does? Let's break it down!

1️⃣ 18.4 lbs — straight from the package to the trimming board.

2️⃣ 14.8 lbs — seasoned and ready for the smoke.

3️⃣ 8.35 lbs — after 12-16 hours of love and smoke. That’s a 45% yield!

Wholesale, brisket's around $5/lb. That 18+ lb beast starts at $100 before it even hits the pit!

After trimming and cooking, you're left with 8 pounds, making the real cost $12.50-$13/lb. Don't forget to factor in labor, wood, and seasoning!

BBQ's not pricey because we're trying to be... it's because brisket shrinks a lot in the heat!
