ā¦Happening in our building, and everyone is invited!
On September 23rd, 1857, a businessman named Jeremiah Lanphier opened a prayer room in NYC and invited local workers to drop in and pray for a few minutes during their lunch hours. He began all by himself in solitude, and the was joined by six others. Within weeks, the gatherings grew so large they expanded to multiple rooms with an eventual estimated 10,000 daily participants. This prayer movement led to what is now known as the Businessmanās Revival.
We are beginning midday prayer here in our sanctuary with just a few who are obediently seeking the Lord. Whether two or 10,000 meet, we will be pausing to be with God. All are welcomeā¦whether you work in our building, drive here for a break during lunch or long to get out of the house with your kiddos. They can come too!
Destiny School of Leadership will continue to host this prayer rhythm all throughout the school year, so please join us! 12:00 Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thusdays.
