The City of Daytona Beach is pleased to present the 7th Annual Daytona Beach Happy New Year Bandshell Concert Series at the Daytona Beach Bandshell on Sunday, December 30 and Monday, December 31.

“We are happy to be able to offer fun, free, family-friendly entertainment for our visitors and residents of Daytona Beach during the New Year holiday weekend at Daytona Beach’s Historical Bandshell,” said Chad Smith, Entertainment Venues Manager of the City of Daytona Beach.

Admission is free to both concerts and VIP front row seating will be available for $10/person.

Daytona! Get Ready For Garth Brooks - the Ultimate Tribute Show! On Sunday, December 30, The Ultimate Tribute to Garth Brooks will take the stage at 8:00 PM. Kip Sweeny is a world class showman and vocalist that channels Garth Brooks like no other! He has years of experience performing for prestigious organizations like Sea World and Universal Studios. His Garth Brooks Tribute Show is a replica of the real live set Garth uses including artists that influenced him. The show is filled with high energy and includes a full band, steel guitar, fiddle and more.
Kip will energize the night as he takes concert guests over the top with his unique crowd interaction in this tribute to Garth Brooks. He is known to share tidbits of information about who and what music inspired Garth’s greatest hits during the show. Meet and greet time and photo opportunities are a specialty and also a part of Kip’s tribute show.

Concert attendees can expect to hear all of their Garth Brooks favorites like Friends in Low Places, Shameless, More Than a Memory, Good Ride Cowboy, The Thunder Rolls and more!

On Monday, December 31, the Daytona Beach Bandshell will celebrate New Year’s Eve with Jaded Aerosmith Tribute Band who will take the stage 8 PM. Jaded is a tribute to the bad boys from Boston, Aerosmith and are dedicated to making sure they (in the immortal words of Steven Tyler): “Kick ass and leave a footprint.”
And by exercising that philosophy, the band hopes to see you at the Daytona Beach Bandshell on New Year’s Eve for a good time with some hard, fast American Rock and Roll! Attendees can expect Jaded Aerosmith Tribute Band to cover all the hit songs from nearly a half-century of America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band with a concert-style, all-ages friendly, high-energy representation of a live Aerosmith concert event with popular hits like Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, Dream On, Same Old Song And Dance, Back In The Saddle, I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing, Angel, Dude (Looks Like A Lady), Livin’ On The Edge, Rag Doll, Amazing and many more!

Bandshell parking is available at the nearby Ocean Center garage and surface lots. Attendees parking in the Ocean Center garage can take the pedestrian overpass to the Bandshell in Oceanfront Park, rent a chair, purchase a drink and enjoy the free show and fireworks!

Daytona Beach Bandshell:
The historic oceanfront Daytona Beach Bandshell is a scenic castle-like amphitheater located in Oceanfront Park on the north end of the Boardwalk amusement area and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. It hosts regular free concerts for the residents of Daytona Beach and its visitors. Built of coquina in 1937, the Bandshell can host 5,000 people for concerts, outdoor weddings, receptions, events or group activities. On March 5, 1999, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
