Dos Latinas Locas

Laura visited Unataza in 2021, she came to offer her famous blueberry banana muffins -gf. At that time we didn’t have room to add more pastry items. But a year later we contacted her again, and she did her first delivery. We order two dozens of her pastries.

Fast Foward Laura's Healthy Delights has become more than a business collaboration, a friendship and family to us.
Offering all the different variety of pastries made with almond flour, coconut flours, no refined sugars, instead giving that delicious sweet flavor with bananas, coconut sugar or prunes. Plus, no dairy.
If you walk by and the kitchen lights are on, is Laura making her magic 🪄

We call ourselves two crazy latinas, far from our roots we found each other in this season of life, in this city, working with purpose, juggling family, work, projects, motherhood, and laughing at the middle of catering events, due to lack of sleep.

If you live in the region, our weather is far from playa(beach) this week, with tornadoes, high winds and thunderstorms in the forecast.

Sabores Tropicales: Guayaba (Guava)

Growing up, my grandma will always prepared guava marmalade, we will add it to pancakes, toast bread or simply run the finger from the jar. She never put it in coffee, but last week we did it, in our Honduras espresso blend and milk Latte, and it was a fusion of flavors!

The trees of guava are still in La Colonia Modelo, in the backyard, still producing guayabas. And this past coffee trip, Aldo enjoyed climbing them. Checkout stories for pic

🔅Price per season: $90 for 6 classes.
🔅Class is 1 hour duration from 6-7PM
This class is for beginners, for those that are interested to expand their vocabulary, are planning a trip, or would like to be more helpful at your job.
