Meet Jake! 👋🏼🖤
If you’ve been following along with Munchie Man, you’ve probably seen Jake’s work pop up on your feed. He’s the person behind a lot of our social media, promotions, and community outreach
Jake is also Christopher’s husband, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Sacramento State, and a firm believer that loud pop music, a good sweaty workout, a weekend getaway, and a trip to Asha Urban Bathhouse does wonders for your mental.

We’re so excited to have Jake helping tell the Munchie Man story and introduce our little corner of Downtown Davis to all of you!🧑🏼‍🩰

Meet Ben Pruner 👨‍🍳

We’re incredibly excited to welcome Ben to the Munchie Man family as our new Sous Chef!
A Sacramento native with deep roots in Davis, Ben is coming home to Northern California after several years in Portland, where he worked alongside fellow Sacramento native Casey Gipson at Migration Brewing, Pink Rabbit, Fools & Horses, and Dirty Pretty.
His path to the kitchen hasn’t been exactly traditional—but after years in inventory management and even building chemical hoses, Ben decided it was time to pursue what he really wanted to do: cook.
And honestly? We’re pretty damn happy he did. ❤️

When Ben isn’t in the kitchen, you can probably find him outdoors, staying active, or doing what might be his most important job of all: searching for the perfect taco. 🌮
