Kanit and Kate, Inc. a California corporation ("Kanit & Kate", opened 2K Thai Food restaurant at 223 G Street in Downtown Davis, California in early 2002 (Now known as Red 88 Noodle Bar). The restaurant quickly became a huge success. From the outset, the company's primary goal has been to expand and provide quality food and service in a fine dining family atmosphere throughout the greater Sacramento region. The name "2K Thai" is derived from the parent company name "Kanit & Kate" and has nothing to do with the millennium or Y2K. Consistently voted as one of the top Thai restaurants in Yolo County, the decision was made to expand and improve upon the existing 2K Thai operation with the opening of KetMoRee Thai Restaurant & Bar at 238 G Street in downtown Davis.

Adoptions are at a stand still for our medium-large dogs. No matter how well-behaved and wonderful they are, it seems that people aren’t interested in giving them the chance they deserve 😓

FAQ: Are they cat-friendly/dog-friendly/kid-friendly?
While we cannot guarantee how they are with cats since we do not cat-test at our shelter, several of them have potential to do well as long as their adopter is committed to slow, proper intros. We have MANY dog-friendly pups who would love to be your dog’s playmate. We have an ABUNDANCE of human-friendly pups who would be your loyal best friend for life.

How much does it cost to adopt?
Our adoption fee is just $50, which includes the cost of the dog’s spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccines.

Each adopted dog also goes home with a go-bag of goodies, including toys, treats, leash, collar, and bag of kibble.

Adopting a shelter dog doesn’t just save the life of that dog. Adopting also frees up space for the next dog that needs shelter until they are reunited with their family or adopted into a forever home.
