Today, Tulum turns two. 🗿🍃

But for us, this story began many years before we ever opened these doors.

It began with a dream we shared of one day having a restaurant of our own. A dream that came with closed doors, countless “no’s,” unexpected turns, long days, sacrifices, and moments when we had no idea what would come next.

There were times when we had to let go of the plans we had made and simply trust God. Trust that every closed door had a purpose. Trust that He was leading us somewhere, even when we couldn’t see where.

And somehow, that dream became Tulum.

We’re deeply grateful to Don Rubén for believing in us from the beginning, to our families for standing beside us through the sacrifices and hard work, and to our team for believing in the vision and giving so much of yourselves to make it real.

But most of all, we’re grateful for you.

Because Tulum stopped being just our dream the moment you walked through these doors. Every table filled with laughter, every birthday celebrated, every family dinner, every date night, every person who came back and brought someone new… you have given this place a life of its own.

We wanted to share a different side of Mexico, but we also wanted to create a place that felt like something more: a place to gather, to celebrate, to slow down, and to make memories.

Two years later, we look around and feel incredibly blessed.

Thank you for believing in our dream and for allowing us to be part of your stories.

And this may only be the beginning. We’re still dreaming, still trusting God, and there are more adventures ahead. We hope you’ll be there for all of them.

Two years. Countless plates. So many memories. And a whole lot of love poured into every detail. 🩶

What started as a dream to bring a fresh take on Mexican food and a little piece of our culture to the Eastern Shore has grown into something even more meaningful: a place where people gather, celebrate, connect, and make memories together.

What a blessing it is to celebrate this milestone with y’all. We’re deeply grateful for the journey, for the grace that has carried us, and for everyone who has walked through our doors, brought friends, celebrated milestones, shared a meal, or simply stopped by to say hello. Thank you. You’ve made these two years what they are.
