Take advantage of one of our nation's top state parks, Hanging Rock, with it's miles of hiking trails, spring-fed lake and beach, waterfalls, campground and visitor's center. Kayak, Canoe, tube, fish or just enjoy the clean, crisp waters of our beautiful Dan River. River Rock Cafe is located five minutes from both of these destinations. Be sure to visit Danbury's historic sites like: Priddy's General Store, a 128 year old landmark, Moratock Park, an important stop on the Civil War trail, historic Rock House, a Revoltionary War landmark and Tory's Den, a cave important throughout the history of Stokes County. Visit our friends at Carolina Ziplines, Singletree Gun and Plough and Dan River Outfitters. Be sure to see the local Artwork at the Stokes County Art's Council's Apple Gallery.Stokes Pharmacy is located next door to River Rock Cafe and has all your medical needs plus outdoor goods and general merchandise. Be sure to checkout their stone fireplace, 75 inch TV showing local outdoor video in amazing "4K" resolution and a 6-foot aquarium featuring local fish and fauna. After seeing what our neck of the woods has to offer, stop by our cafe and enjoy what we have to offer.
