"Everyone who has been coming from that tiktok needs to do more research. Understand that the supposed account claiming they are Dana Kai sushi only has 0 posts and 0 followers , very likely meaning they are not affiliated with the restaurant and could be someone trying to sabotage the business. The owner has come out and claimed they have no political affiliation. Don't follow mob mentality and do something foolish by posting a negative review and use your brain instead of trying to tear down a business."

Here is the picture of fake Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/danakaisushidanapoint/) that the Yelper says received the inappropriate message with pornographic pictures from, and then, she posted it on her TikTok !

Our real Instagram account is https://www.instagram.com/danakaisushi/

And, here is the kind message today by to that Yelper "the Tik Tok you posted about is highly inaccurate. It is a family-owned business, their main car is an EV and they support progressive beliefs just as you and I do. Please consider removing your post. You were contacted by an impostor who is trying to sow discord."

Hello Dana Kai family,

It has recently come to our attention that a video slandering our restaurant was posted on TikTok. The person in the video claimed that an insta account under our name sent them inappropriate messages and photographs through direct messages on Instagram. First, we would like to clarify that it was not our account, but a fake one. This account is run by the owner’s daughter, and we would never send explicit messages or images to anyone. We tried to contact the person multiple times on Yelp (as they originally had posted a negative review about the situation) to clarify that the messages were not sent from us.

However, a few days ago, a TikTok was posted as well, and unfortunately the video is bringing a lot of unwanted negative attention to our restaurant and spamming of negative reviews. We would just like to share with our loyal customers that the messages and stories currently circulating about us do not at all reflect our personal beliefs and character. We hope that this situation will be taken care of soon and that we’ll be able to regain our good reputation in the Dana Point restaurant community.
