Hello, pizza freaks!!! It’s time for funky pizza Friday. This thing looks simple enough, but, under that beautiful summer squash and zucchini from Morning Dew Farm we made a jalapeno popper sauce base. So, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, house ricotta, whey, all sorts of seasonings and some giant jalapeños from once again, morning dew farm. We then hit it with balsamic caramelized shallots, toasted sesame seeds, cracked black pepper and sea salt… this thing is a mad man, come take the Pepsi challenge on this and let us know what you think.

Thank you everyone who came out and celebrated this weekend with us. Such a great night. And thank you Zesty! for an absolute epic performance on our front patio. The Rocky theme while fire works started may go down as one of the most memorable moments in Oysterhead history. Don’t forget we are opening tomorrow night, Monday to watch team USA take on Belgium. Alright! It’s been a tough couple of days, but we are back. And ready to go. Lilia has been in the kitchen prepping the dough and some other sweet treats. Chicken wings are on the smoker and we’ll be open all day. We’ll have Canada vs Morocco on the tv at 1 o’clock. France vs Paraguay at 5, Zesty! out front from 7-10 and fireworks when the sun goes down. We’ll keep the bar open late for anyone looking for downtown fun. Sunday we have papa Tim out front and then Monday night we’re going to open up the bar for team USA vs Belgium. This is going to be an epic party weekend. Let’s go!!! Have fun, be safe and treat restaurant staff with respect. ✌️❤️🔥 happy 4th!!!

Alright folks. Couple things. Due to extreme heat on the forecast for this week, we’re going to have to close tomorrow, Thursday. If it’s too hot the dough over proofs way too fast. We’ll be backk open on Friday. Saturday still looks good for the fireworks and for Zesty! the rock it out from 7-10. Also, in other sad news there is a national chicken wing shortage right now. So we will not have wings today. But we should have them back by the weekend. Please note that it is going to be hot and humid, so if it’s hot in your house, car or whatever you’re doing imagine what it’s like standing in front of an oven cooking for people. So be considerate where you decide to go this weekend. Thank you, pizza heads!

We have a big week planned here at the shop. On Wednesday we will be open late for team USA’s first knockout stage game, game starts at 8. On Thursday we have music from Mira Raven making her return from 4-7. On Saturday it’s 4th of July shenanigans, we will have zesty playing under the fireworks from 7-10. And to finish the week strong we’ll have PAPA•TIM + The Whiskey Throttle Band from 3-6. We are now closed on Monday and Tuesday so we can keep up with prep and the high demands of the summer season.
