6 months in the making - and what a day to celebrate! 🎉
Today, Chick-fil-A Serramonte proudly partnered with Susan B. Anthony Elementary School to recognize students who achieved perfect attendance from November through today. Chick-fil-A Serramonte’s Owner/Operator Susanna Choe awarded one student from each grade (TK-5th) a Guardian bike and helmet - an exciting reward for their commitment and consistency! Principal Roxanne Hannan drew the names for each grade’s winner!
What makes this partnership truly meaningful are the incredible results:
✨ Chronic absenteeism dropped from ~17% to below the district average of 12%—a first for the school
✨ Perfect attendance in December surged from 13% to 42% year over year
✨ Students were encouraged and rewarded along the way with free Chick-fil-A meals, building momentum toward today’s celebration.
This achievement reflects the dedication of students, families, school staff, and local leaders coming together to create lasting impact. We couldn’t be more proud to be part of it.
