Recently, our baristas America, Clarissa, and Nani got the opportunity to travel to Japan! While in Asakusa, dressed in kimonos of their choice and hair done up, they took part in a traditional matcha ceremony where they learned the proper techniques and traditions behind preparing and serving matcha to guests. Paired with their red bean paste mochi and seasonal treats celebrating the autumnal equinox, this experience offered a glimpse of the hospitality and intentionality woven in to Japanese culture. We’re delighted to bring that inspiration into the work we do here at Katy Coffee Lab, where every cup is crafted with the same spirit of connection and care. 🍵🌸
