Chef KP has been hard at work creating a menu of fan favorites we can offer our loyal BMK customers during this transition and move.

Let’s call it our secret. We start with the usual - lean ground beef, carrots, celery, onions, Panko breadcrumbs - but you know we had to sneak in some veggies. We use riced cauliflower and broccoli in this one. Your kids will never taste it and they likely won’t see it either.

Yesterday, we told you that Baller Mom Kitchen is moving home to East Dallas.
Today, I’m doing something that does not come particularly naturally to me:
I’m asking our community for a little extra help getting us there.
Moving BMK means deposits, permits, inspections, movers and equipment - while we continue buying groceries, paying our team and feeding families through the transition.

After 7+ years of feeding Dallas… we’re packing up the kitchen. 📦

🗞️ Big news 🗞️ from Baller Mom Kitchen: after more than seven years of feeding Dallas families, we’re getting ready to move our entire operation into a new kitchen.

And not just any kitchen…
We’re coming home to East Dallas, where BMK got its start.

There is so much to be excited about in our new kitchen. But moving an entire working commercial kitchen is no small thing. There are a whole lot of moving parts - literally - along with expenses, inspections, permits and details to work through while we finish production in one kitchen and prepare to begin again in another.

We’ll have more ways to support the move very soon. 
But today, the most helpful thing you can do is beautifully simple: let us feed you.

This isn’t the kind of content I’ve usually shared here.

For years, this account has mostly shown you the food we make. But Baller Mom Kitchen has never been a faceless brand. It has been shaped by my life, my people, what I believe and everything I learned long before I cooked our first meal.

As BMK gets ready to begin a new chapter - more on that very soon - I want to let you see more of what happens behind the scenes, and more of the mom behind the business.

This feels like a meaningful place to begin.

Love One Another lived in me long before BMK had a name.

25 years after September 11th, I understand more clearly why those words matter so much to me.

This is the first of the more personal stories I plan to share.

If you remember that day too, I’d love to hear what you carried from it - and what you wish we had carried forward together.

Better than take out - we use brown rice and up the sweetness with crushed pineapple. Extra nutrition from the standard peas and carrots plus finely chopped broccoli. Topped with tender nuggets of teriyaki chicken.
