Good morning y'all!!
For many years, y'all have followed me for my cake creations and I really thank you for that. A few years back, I decided to change careers, but I still have a creative side that I want to share with everyone. This page will be switching over to Grandma Lumi's House 🏠 🩷🫶🏼 I'm becoming a grandmother so this is a perfect time to make the change. I'll be baking, sharing recipes, creating art m, and doing grandma things. Please stay with me. I have a good feeling about this 🩷

Fall is coming… and I’m already baking like it’s October. 🍂🤎

Homemade pumpkin cinnamon rolls from scratch... soft, fluffy, full of warm fall spices, and covered in that dreamy icing. 🎃🍥

If fall had a flavor, I swear this would be it. 🤤

Who else is ready for cozy baking season? 🍁

🎂📢Announcement📣🎂
UPDATE on The Gingerbread House.
Almost two years ago it was a rough time for me and I made a decision to change careers, get on the road, and do some soul searching.

I'm not even sure you all will see this post because I'm way out of the algorithm at this point. But I know my customers are here.

I'm currently planning to return to my passion of art through sugar by making beautifulcales again! I do not have an exact date yet but I think I'll be opening my calander to start taking orders for November or December.
I will update that soon.

I will have more boundaries for myself to prevent burn out. I will also have a more structured pricing chart so that I can be sure I'm getting a livable income and what I am worth.

I am very excited to get back to what I love and grow 10x bigger.

One more thing, I may be changing my name but I would love to know what yall think, should I keep The Gingerbread House or start fresh?

My day today in Golden Colorado! This place has become of my favorite spots. The flatbread was amazing! I plan to make some at home 🤤 The hummingbirds are all over the place and amazingly they are not scared of humans. Down by the creek there's a very distinct smell, I think it may be birch.. I like it. The water was frigid like a glass of ice water but so refreshing on this hot day. It's so incredible what the sound of water can do for our bodies and spirit 🩵🙌🏻 I am a truck driver but I get off the truck and explore as much as I can.

Some days I’m exhausted, some days I’m unstoppable. Either way, I turn the key and roll on. 💪🏼💨
This road teaches me more than any classroom ever could.
Keep going. Even when you’re running on fumes, your spirit will carry you. 🙏🏻🩷🙌🏻

It's time to connect with Home, with Earth, with Nature. It's incredible how the sound of water or the birds singing can reduce our stress levels significantly. Sounds of nature are a natural form of healing for our bodies. Try sitting near a stream, or on the patio during a rainstorm. Close yours eyes, focus on the sounds around you, and breathe deeply.

All I’ve ever wanted…
was to be loved the way I love. 💔💫

Not halfway.
Not when it’s easy.
But fully. Freely. Fiercely. ❤️🔥

I don’t love lightly.
I don’t love for show.
When I love, it’s in the way I remember the little things,
the way I make space for someone’s soul,
the way I keep showing up—even when I’m hurting. 🤍🕊️😔

So sometimes, yeah… it breaks me a little.
To realize I give that kind of love,
but haven’t really received it back. 😞💭

Not yet.
But maybe one day… someone will love me
like I’m home. 🏡
Like I’m the calm after the storm. ⛈️☀️
Like I’m the thing they didn’t even know they were praying for. 🙏🏽💫

🌿 Self-Healing Is Real 🌞
You are not broken—your body remembers how to heal.
Sometimes all it needs is a return to what is natural:

🌙 Walk barefoot on the earth — let nature recalibrate you
🎶 Sing out loud — your voice is medicine
🌊 Listen to flowing water, bird songs, the wind — these are ancient frequencies🙏🏻🩷
☀️ Let sunlight kiss your skin — it's not just warmth, it’s information
🕊️ Move your body — stretch, sway, dance — it releases more than just tension
🎧 Surround yourself with music that lifts your spirit
🌸 Breathe deeply — into your belly, into your heart

Your healing doesn’t always come in a bottle.
Sometimes it comes in stillness. In rhythm. In light.
In remembering who you were before the world told you to forget.

—
🌱 Trust your body. Feed your soul. Heal naturally.
I love all of you. Happy Monday 🙏🏻🩷🌙

Detachment doesn't mean that you own nothing, it means that nothing owns you.... deep 💭 🙏🏻
So often, we become owned by our dreams, our desires, and our physical things.
It doesn't mean we need to give them all away or not have those things, but more so that if or when we need to let go, are we willing and able to do so.
I've been working on detachment from things and wants. Not allowing them to take control of how I move and where I focus my energy. Healing from the inside out.
