Financial Women in Texas - Dallas Group Financial Women in Texas (FWIT) is open to all who are either in or associated with the financial se

In the early 20th century a group of women started the National Association of Bank Women (NABW) which later changed its name to Financial Women International (FWI) to encompass more areas of the financial services industry. In 2009 FWI made the tough decision to close their doors due to dwindling membership across the country. At that time the Texas District of FWI chose to form a new association and continue our mission. With the help of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas we did just that. FWIT is now in our fifth year with groups in ten locations throughout Texas as well as our virtual members in other areas.

This past week, the Dallas Group hosted tbe 16th Annual Financial Women in Texas Conference at the beautiful Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas. What an unforgettable experience!
I’m so thankful to be part of this amazing community of women — strong, smart, and committed to lifting each other up and helping more women succeed in the financial industry and beyond.

As this year's conference hosts, we were thrilled to spotlight the incredible work of Rae’s Hope and their mission of Reviving Communities One Child at a Time. It was an honor to have the Executive Director and founder, along with three program participants, join us at the welcome reception for this year's FWIT conference! We were excited to gift Ella the Banker books to all program participants in support of their financial literacy initiative, and also made a monetary donation to further their impactful work.
