Pizza Getti

I almost forgot… Happy 58th Birthday to us! 🎉

Can you believe we’ve been around that long?

Dallas is a funny city. There’s always something new opening, and we hear plenty about the latest restaurant, the newest concept and whatever the next big thing is. But sometimes we forget to notice the places that have simply kept showing up, year after year.

At 58, we’re well into our stride, and we’re not too worried about being flashy. These days, we’re more interested in finding the perfect pillow, wearing sensible shoes, and making sure we get enough sleep. 😂

And honestly, we couldn’t have made it this far without you, our dear Pizza Getti lovers.

So thank you for your patronage and for being part of our story. Whether you’re brand new to us or a Day 1 customer (yes, they’re still out there!), we’re grateful you’re part of the Pizza Getti legacy.

58 years and still serving East Dallas. ❤️🍕
Here’s to the next slice!

Well, it’s that time of year… The State Fair of Texas! 🎡🎢

Local businesses love it and hate it. We love it because it’s fun. We hate it because, somehow, it seems to coincide with our annual fall downturn in business. 😂

Some of our Pizza Getti crew needs to be first in line! And as we all know, the Fair can get expensive real fast. These gals need you to come in and help fund their R&R. 😎

So come see us—especially if you’re coming to or from the Fair. After all, we’re just a few miles down the road!

Getting a fresh coat of paint today at Buckner and John West. Come check it out.

Like, totally. 😎

We had to get these AI photos in while they’re still fun and whimsical and before the robots completely take over. 😂

Today is the Fall Equinox, which means it’s officially time for back-to-school, the State Fair, football, and pretending it’s actually going to cool off in Texas soon.

In the meantime, we’re going to see just how far this little 1980s preppy look gets us today. Popped collars, sweaters around our shoulders, big hair, and absolutely no shame.

But don’t worry—we’re totally ready for you to come see us IRL.

So grab your crew, hop in the family station wagon, and come get some Pizza Getti.

Like, totally. See you soon. 🍕😎📻

Are you coming by Pizza Getti tonight?

Be sure to wish Alex a happy birthday! He actually chose to work on his birthday—no complaining or anything. 😂

We’re glad he’s part of our crew, and we’re always grateful for your business.

Come see us! If not tonight, then soon. ❤️🍕

Congratulations to Conner Merrell. With one swift stroke of his foot, he managed to pass up the annual sales of the little Pizza Getti. 😂

Help us catch up!

Pizza and college football were made to go together. And there’s plenty of football on the menu today:

🏈 Oklahoma vs. Michigan — 11:00 AM
🏈 Texas A&M vs. Arizona State — 11:00 AM
🏈 Texas vs. Ohio State — 6:30 PM
🏈 Baylor vs. #2 HBCU Prairie View A&M — 6:30 PM

Order early. Order hearty. And settle in for a full day of football and pizza.

Sic ’em, Bears! 🐻🏈🍕

This is one of those days when we all take a moment to reflect. And 25 is one of those numbers that makes you pause a little longer.

I remember that day vividly. I wasn’t sure what to do, so I did what I always did—I came up here and made pizza.

It was exceptionally busy that day. Not because people were hungry for pizza, but because people needed community. We were all worried. We were all trying to make sense of what had happened, and none of us really knew what the world was going to look like moving forward.

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

But the sun still rises. We keep moving forward. We gather around tables, share meals, talk, laugh, and sometimes just sit together for a little while.

And we are honored that, for more than half a century, Pizza Getti has been a small part of this community.

Thank you for letting us be here.

Stay blessed and God Bless America. ❤️

What is this magic?!?!

If follow the DFW food scene, it seems like they always talk about the same places being the best. Not to take anything from these places; they've certainly earned their reputations. Anyway, it was nice to finally get some recognition. See #3 in the attached article.

How fortuitous to find this little piece of family history.

June 27, 1976. That’s me with my grandma, my mom, and my two aunts.

Apparently I started representing the family business early—I was already sporting a Pizza Getti T-shirt. Exactly 50 years later, I’m still wearing the colors. 🍕

Some things never change. ❤️

Sometimes a pizza is just a meal. Other times, it’s a meal and a memory.

I made this beauty for my mom and dad back in 2016. They were pretty consistent customers, and I was always happy to make their favorite pizza.

Looking back, it’s funny how many of life’s moments happen around a table. A shared meal, a familiar order, a conversation that seemed ordinary at the time. Those are the memories that stick with us.

We’re grateful for every family that lets Pizza Getti be a small part of their story. ❤️🍕

We appreciate the likes and comments, but what we really want is to see your smiling faces.

As you’re putting together your summer bucket list, be sure to add Pizza Getti. We pair perfectly with a day at the Arboretum, a trip to Fair Park, or any adventure that brings you to the east side of Dallas.

And just a friendly reminder—we still make a pretty great pizza.

If you’ve enjoyed a meal with us, tell your friends and family about the little Pizza Getti. Word of mouth has kept us going for generations, and we’re grateful for every recommendation.
