Bright, crisp, and balanced. 💛

🥗 Our Papaya Salad traces back to a street vendor serving by Hồ Hoàn Kiếm in Hà Nội, simple, bold, and meant to be eaten just as it was made.

The recipe was carried forward over time and shared with Chef and Owner Carol Nguyen, who brings it to the table with care and respect for where it began. 🫶

Shredded green papaya, Vietnamese beef jerky, carrots, peanuts, fried shallots, basil, served with house-made sauce, and shrimp crackers.

Available at Ngon in Dallas & soon in NYC. 💛

A shelf of collected objects. A photo of Carol’s mother, Ngôn, from her younger days. Cherry blossoms overhead, with wooden koi fish floating gently above the room. 🌸

This is Ngon in Dallas, where every corner is shaped with care and memory. Sharing a glimpse with our sister, , as we carry the same spirit forward.💛

At first glance, it looks simple. But this dish carries layers of home.

Our Bún Chả Hà Nội brings together smoky char‑grilled pork patties and tender pork belly, served with fresh herbs, crisp lettuces, vermicelli, and a lightly sweetened fish sauce that ties everything together. 💛

Ngon Vietnamese Kitchen is rooted in love for home cooking, a Ha Noi upbringing, and inspired by food served by the street vendors in Vietnam. Ngon is restaurant owner Carol Nguyen’s first Vietnamese restaurant after a decade in the restaurant industry. Ngon has two meanings for her and her family: it means delicious in Vietnamese, and it's also named after her main inspiration and hero, her mom, whose name is Ngôn. #ngonqua #mamangonapproved
