The difference between water bath and no water bath.

The filling portion of these were made in the same mixer, at the same time. So this is not an issue with over mixing, and and air pockets. This is the difference a water bath while baking makes.

A water bath helps prevent the cheesecake from cracking, and doing a little Bobby soufflé action!

Don’t worry these were gifts, and not paid for products. Friends and family get what they get.🤣 Because even with cracks it still taste’s freaking delicious!

This cake recipe i my absolute new favorite! It is the same chocolate recipe i have used for years, but this time i used my black cocoa powder. Black cocoa powder is what’s used to make Oreos! Man was it absolutely delicious, and oh so moist.

I also switched up my standard American buttercream with this cake as well. It did not disappoint, and is now going to be my new standard! I typically use crisco as it provides more stability for decorating. This time i cut the amount of crisco in half, and did a small jar of marshmallow fluff in place of the rest of the crisco called for. It still provides the stability needed for decorating, but made it so much yummier.
