We are excited for tomorrow! We will be at the park ready to serve big foot if he is found! Maybe tacos will lure him out!
👣 KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: BIGFOOT IN THE PARK 🌲
We’re just a few days away from Bigfoot in the Park! Here’s what you need to know before heading to George Poston Park on Saturday.
Check-In & Hunting Gear: Check-in begins at 9:45 AM at Base Camp. Pre-registration is now closed. Those who pre-registered are guaranteed hunting gear and must be picked up at check-in by 11:30AM. Walk-up participants are welcome, but gear will only be available while supplies last and is not guaranteed.
Base Camp Debrief: All hunters must attend a Base Camp Debrief before beginning the hunt. Debriefs will be held at 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM. No hunting will begin before the first debrief.
Parking: Parking is first come, first served. Once the main parking area fills, overflow parking will be available across the street and at the fields.
About the Trail: The Bigfoot Hunt takes place along the Lake Loop, an approximately 2-mile, easy-to-moderate trail with varying terrain. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. The trail is not rated as handicap accessible, but there is still plenty to do and see without hitting the trail! An accessible lake viewing area will also give visitors a chance to keep an eye out for Bigfoot.
Bringing a Dog? Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. Please keep in mind that there may be large crowds and loud noises or whistles. Dogs that are aggressive or uncomfortable in that environment should stay home.
Food & Vendors: Food trucks and artisan vendors will be open from 10 AM–2 PM. You don’t have to participate in the hunt to come out, grab some food, shop and enjoy the event!
