Charlie Kirk: “From the start, everything about the Trump NY trial has been corrupt and rotten:

- Alvin Bragg's predecessor declined to prosecute this case.

- Alvin Bragg originally declined to prosecute this case.

- The DOJ declined to prosecute this case.

- Then suddenly, Matthew Colangelo, made a strange downward career move, hopping from #3 at the DOJ to just another prosecutor job at the Manhattan DA's office. A few months later, the case against Trump abruptly rematerialized, with Biden’s man as lead prosecutor.

- The case hinges on an alleged federal election violation that has never been charged.

- The Democrat judge, Juan Merchan, has donated to Joe Biden.

- The Democrat judge's daughter, is a professional consultant for Democrats political campaigns, which have raised millions off this trial.

- The judge has repeatedly overruled defense objections while allowing the prosecution to run wild.

- The judge refused the testimony of an FEC official who would have testified that no federal election crime was committed.

- The judge has instructed the jury that they don't even have to unanimously agree on the underlying "felony" the prosecution is alleging Trump tried to conceal with the hush money to reach a conviction - outrageous!

- The prosecution's star witness, Michael Cohen, is on record saying he wants Trump in jail, is a convicted liar, and and was caught lying about a critical phone call on the stand in cross-examination.

- What's alleged to have happened, even if it was a crime, was all under the advice of counsel—Michael Cohen!

- We still don't know what the crime is!

This is another get-Trump, sham show trial in front of a biased judge and a biased NYC jury. Trump still might get a hung jury, but the fact we've gotten this far is a travesty of justice and stain on the country.”

We returned to Tizzone this week. It is one of our favorite restaurants, and we weren't disappointed! It was Botetourt Restaurant week and the special menu was spectacular!

Two of us had the Brisket special. It was so tender and the seasoning was superb.

Mark had the salmon and again superb!!!

You can't go wrong with the wood-fired pizzas as Foodie Linda once again ordered her favorite, and Foodie Ivy ordered oysters.

Truthfully I need to pay more attention to what people order, we just jump into our food immediately because the presentation is good and you want to dig in!

Again a wonderful dining experience at Tizzone!

There's a new restaurant in Daleville, VA, The Crooked Shoreline. Now we don't know where the name of the establishment came from since we are 5 hours inland, but it does specialize in steak and seafood.

At the writing of this article The Crooked Shoreline (CS) has only been officially open a week. When we arrived they were packed, which is something we love to see at our local restaurants. There are some kinks to be worked out, but the staff was very gracious and accommodating to our Tuesday night group.

The menu consists of appetizers, sandwiches, flat breads, salads, a few full entrees and my (Foodie Kim) husband had a fabulous dish of Fish and Chips.

A lobster roll was enjoyed by Foodie Ivy, and may be one of the best menu items. I enjoyed my Philly Cheesesteak Flatbread as did Doug enjoy his Tuscan Flatbread. Foodie Linda had a grilled chicken. The Wedge salad was a little pricey, ordered by a few of us, and we won't order it again.

I would say the food was good but not, except as noted above, exceptional. The service however was superb! Tara you are the bomb!

It is more casual dining, and without any soft surfaces a little loud when busy. We did take note of the dinner ware...loved the black plates!

There is also a full bar in back, for those who enjoy meeting for drinks after work.

We will go back. 😎

Well we Foodies have been delinquent in posting the past 2 weeks! But, Mikayla Palmer we are finally posting about our amazing dinner with you at Tizzone😎

If you haven't been to Tizzone in Daleville Town Center you are missing a treat! It is one of the few places you can go in the area to unwind, enjoy a great glass of wine, and fabulous entrees from the wood fired kitchen.

I personally (Foodie Kim) have never had a bad meal at Tizzone's for lunch or dinner. The particular evening the Tuesday night group dropped in was exceptional! Fabulous service by Miss Mikayla, and the food was out of this world. The ambiance is relaxed and good. Prices are moderate and the portions are very ample.

We were so excited about the food, we started eating before the photos! However, there were a variety of pizzas, salads, and one person really enjoyed the beef stroganoff! (That may have been a special)

Foodies A Trois highly recommends Tizzone.

The Foodie A Trois seal of approval goes to Pancho's in Daleville, VA! We started our Tuesday night outings a couple of years ago with Taco Tuesday at Pancho's, although we never ordered tacos! We decided to go back to our Mexican haunt, and it is always a great evening of good food and friends.

The food is fabulous, reasonably priced, clean environment, and the service is superb. The Foodies recommend Pancho's!
