When Instagram friends turn into real life friends, how could I not bake her favorite cake: Pineapple Upside-down Cake, if you please! 50 is nifty, Bek! ❤️ You wear it well.

Two cakes for today! Both are simple and sweet but give off a totally different vibe!

Wedding #2 of the day, and this one was at The Chair Factory in Gainesville. This venue is so unique! The mother-of-the-bride shared some sentimental news with me. The venue holds a special place in her heart. Her father was a craftsman at the factory for 40 years, and she got to stroll through the building reminiscing about her childhood. I loved hearing her talk about it! ❤️❤️

Not every wedding cake has to have multiple tiers. These two are big on personality if not on stature. I love that people plan their cakes around the vibe they want for their big day--- be it drapes and swirls or birch bark and frogs! 😍😍😆😆
