Two cakes for one cute birthday girl! 🎂💕👑

An adorable small pink Swedish Princess Cake just for the birthday girl and a classic green one for everyone celebrating her first birthday. Such a sweet occasion to bake for.🥰

Which would you choose—pink or green? 💗💚

From marzipan to three little crayfish 🦞🦞🦞

The traditional Swedish prinsesstårta may be known for its green marzipan and pink rose, but for our crayfish party, I’m giving it a little kräftskiva makeover. 💛

In this video, I show how I cover the cake with marzipan and make all three little crayfish by hand, from their tails and claws to those tiny eyes. 🦞🦞🦞

A classic Swedish Princess Cake for a birthday girl 💕💚

Prinsesstårta is a beloved Swedish classic made with layers of light and airy sponge cake, raspberry jam, silky vanilla custard, and plenty of fluffy whipped cream. Shaped into its signature gentle dome, the cake is covered in sweet green marzipan and traditionally finished with a dusting of powdered sugar and a delicate pink marzipan rose.

Such a lovely cake for a special birthday celebration! 💕💚

A simple yet elegant Swedish Princess Cake for a precious baby girl on the way. ❤️

The classic Swedish Princess Cake is traditionally covered in green marzipan, but for this baby shower, a beautiful burgundy shade was the perfect choice. ❤️

My first time making a marzipan cake in burgundy, and I absolutely love how deep and striking the color turned out. ❤️

Always fun making a HUGE Swedish Princess Cake. 💚💕

Putting a giant sheet of heavy marzipan on the cake is definitely a challenge and it takes more than one person! Thankfully, I have the best and amazing teamwork with my hubby (video attached). 🥰

I absolutely love this sheet cake for big celebrations. No fighting over who gets the pretty rose and it’s so easy to serve. 💚💕
