Doc's Cafe & Marketplace Doc's Cafe & Marketplace is a new cafe, just opened in Cumberland Center, Maine! Coffee is brewed fresh and by Coffee By Design. We hope to see you!

Known throughout the town of Cumberland as "Doc Hanson's place", our building has been lovely restored and aptly named "Doc's Cafe & Marketplace". Featuring locally sourced foods, our varied menu includes breakfast choices such as vegetarian breakfast burritos with carmelized onions, home-baked cinnamon rolls and muffins, and breakfast sandwiches. Lunch options range from turkey on multigrain with

brie and cranberry chuntney, to fresh soups and salads. Be sure to stop in and make Doc's your office away from home with our free wifi, or the place to meet friends for lunch.

It is with mixed emotions that we share with you all that on January 1st we will be passing the keys of Doc's along to a new steward of our wonderful cafe. Accomplished Chef Bryan Dame will be taking over the reins and though there will be a name change and some new faces, many of the same familiar faces will continue to make your delicious breakfast and serve your coffee just as we have for the past 4 1/2 years. We are thrilled to welcome him to Cumberland and love his vision for the future. Thank you so much to all of you wonderful customers and friends for making my dream of owning a local coffee shop come true, and helping create a place where we can all can come together as a community. Hope to see you all on the other side of the counter!
