So this is different from my normal posts, but…wanted to share what’s going on around here! My children are doing a couple fundraisers for some fun things they want to participate in for the upcoming homeschool year. They are doing a Read-a-thon and a calendar fundraiser. The boys are taking pledges for 5 hours plus of reading this week! They are asking anyone who feels inclined to help them meet their goal to pledge either a dollar amount per hour of reading, or a one time donation of any amount for them reading 5 hours or more! This has been huge here, especially for our younger son. He has had some challenges to overcome with reading, and so the fact that he is eager to read for this is HUGE! We appreciate everyone who donates, prays for them in this challenge and the upcoming school year, and cheers them on! If you’d rather, they also have a calendar fundraiser up, and you can pick a day and donate that amount toward their goal. Days 1-6 have been chosen already. If you would like to participate, I will drop my Venmo in the comments. The boys can do cash, Venmo or cashapp depending on your preference. Even if you can’t do a pledge, they love seeing comments and messages cheering them on, so I’d love it if y’all drop them an encouraging message below! 🩷
