You can swim in one of the most unique all natural spring-fed pools in Florida at the Kings Bay Lodge in Crystal River, which offers one of the best looks at and experiences of “Old Florida” you’ll find anywhere in the state! Built in 1957 around active natural springs, this rare chlorine-free pool has no regular plumbing, pumps, or harsh chemicals. Fresh spring water rises from below, flows through the pool, and moves out toward the bay, keeping it clear, cool, and naturally refreshing at about 72 degrees year-round. The sandy, rocky bottom, blue crabs and Spanish moss give it the feel of swimming in a spring instead of a hotel pool. The lodge itself began as a Tennessee fishing camp and still keeps that laid-back waterfront feel, with ground-floor efficiency suites, kitchenettes, easy parking, dock access, sunsets, and a location near Crystal River’s parks, shops, restaurants, manatee tours, paddling, scalloping, fishing, diving, and Fort Island Gulf Beach.

Just to give a little update our PROJECTED opening will be in August!!! We pretty much have our menu nailed down and we have begun buying furniture and cool stuff for the restaurant. We are bringing the FUNK soon! Citrus Counties newest cool hangout is on the way 🔜

One of the biggest honors in my life is getting asked to come out and speak with kids about entrepreneurship!! Some know my story and some don’t… I was a “Troubled” kid that wasn’t really good at anything. Bad at sports. Bad at school. When I was 19 I got the opportunity of a lifetime to start and grow a restaurant. I finally found my calling. The road to success looks different for everyone… if you put the work into yourself you can make anything happen!! ❤️❤️ Thank you “Handy Hicks Skill Building Class” for having me!!
