Did you know National Taco Day was originally celebrated on October 4? The concept started in the 1960s in San Antonio, Texas, pushed by Roberto L. Gomez and the National Taco Council to promote Mexican food and local restaurants. Now, thanks to the Taco Tuesday frenzy, the shift ensures the celebration ALWAYS falls on the first Tuesday of October! And here we are… ready to celebrate! 🌮🙌

This October, Tia’s Ocean Grill is proud to partner with Gift of Life to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer right here in Southeast Texas.

For us, this is about more than wearing pink. It’s about helping our neighbors access education, screenings and potentially life-saving care. Every conversation, every donation and every person reached matters.

Throughout October, we’ll have several ways to get involved, give back and help us make a real impact in our community.

Our goal is $10,000, and we need your help to get there.

Partners for a Brighter Tomorrow

This October, Tia’s Ocean Grill is proud to partner with Gift of Life to help raise funds and, even more importantly, raise awareness about breast cancer right here in Southeast Texas.

Cancer has touched far too many families in our community. Throughout the month, we’ll be creating several opportunities to come together, have a little fun, and support an organization that works every day to save lives.

You’ll see opportunities to donate at Tia’s, enter to win Houston Rockets tickets, purchase our special breast cancer awareness T-shirt, and join us for a Wh***ey Dinner & Silent Auction.

But more than anything, we want to use our restaurant and our voice to help spread awareness, encourage conversations, and support the people in our community who are fighting this disease.

We’ll be sharing all the details over the next few weeks.
