Happy Juneteenth ❤️🖤💚

Today we honor freedom, resilience, and the generations of Black people who dreamed, built, resisted, created, and carried us forward.

As a small Black-owned business, we are deeply grateful for every customer who chooses to spend their dollars with us. Your support means more than a transaction. It helps sustain a local business, create jobs, build community, and keep space open for connection, culture, and care.

Juneteenth is also a reminder that where we spend our money matters. Supporting Black-owned businesses is a socially conscious choice that strengthens the whole community. When Black businesses thrive, neighborhoods thrive. Families thrive. Creativity thrives. Everyone benefits.

Thank you for showing up for us — today and every day.

With love and gratitude,
The Black Cow Coffee Company xoxo ☕️🐄♥️

We are so humbled and excited to announce that we’ve won Best of Westchester - for the second year in a row! 🎉🥳🍾

We are so grateful for the support of our community, our customers, and everyone who took a moment to cast a vote for us. We could not have achieved this without you 🫵.

We also need to give a shoutout to our staff. Their hard work, dedication and ability to work under pressure, all while providing everyone who walks in with a pleasant experience, is truly inspiring. We could not have done this with you all 🫶.

Don’t worry though, despite the slide show of silly celebratory memes, we won’t let this go to our heads. We don’t have the time for that because we’re too busy making sure that we keep serving up some great coffee and an even better experience for you all! Thank you again for your support, it means the world to us!

With gratitude,
The Black Cow Team 🖤🐄☕️

This month, we honor and remember Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, and Leslie Feinberg—three leaders of the Q***r Liberation Movement whose courage and commitment helped pave the way for decades of progress.

Much work remains, particularly as attacks against q***r people—especially trans and nonbinary individuals—continue to rise. We encourage those looking to help consider volunteering or donating to local or national organizations fighting on the front lines. With significant cuts to state and federal funding, no contribution is too small. We have included a few organizations to consider supporting, though there many others that are equally deserving.

We know how difficult, discouraging, and frankly terrifying that recent years have been for the q***r community and for so many others, and we know how easy it is to fall into a mindset ruled by apathy, fear, and pessimism. However, in difficult times like these, we are reminded of the words of the late Mr. Fred Rogers: “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping. There are still so many caring people in this world.”

We are deeply grateful to all of you—our friends, family, and community—for helping The Black Cow become the safe, diverse, and welcoming space it is, and will always be. You remind us that, no matter the challenges we face, there will always be people willing to step forward and offer their support.

To us, you are the helpers we look for.

With gratitude and so much pride 🏳️‍🌈💫🏳️‍⚧️,
The Black Cow Team
